Posters & Oral Presentations

Participants of the meeting are encouraged to present their latest work in a poster presentation or an oral presentation.

Oral presentations

Up to twelve submitted scientific contributions will be selected for an oral communication. The selected authors will be given the opportunity to present their study during a 15 minutes presentation.

Posters and Abstracts

Posters and selected orals must accompanied by an abstract (max 400 words). The authors have the possibility to submit an extended abstract including tables and figures that will be published in Journal of Integrated OMICS (JIOMICS) upon approval. JIOMICS is an open-access, peer reviewed journal and provides a forum for the publication of original research papers, preliminary communications, technical notes and critical reviews in all branches of pure and applied "-omics", such as genomics, proteomics, lipidomics, metabolomics or metalomics.

The short abstracts will be collected in a conference proceedings book.

Abstract submission guidelines

- Go to http://www.flandersproteomics.be/user/register and fill in the form to create an account and log in.
- Click the "Create Abstract" link on the left and enter your abstract.
- You can always re-edit your abstract before the deadline using the "My Submissions" link on the left (while logged in).

Poster boards

Poster boards will be present at the venue (Kanunnik Van Gesselzaal). The size of the posters should be 90 x 120 cm .

Poster Awards

In order to stimulate young scientists, up to three poster awards will be presented. More details on these awards will follow as soon as possible.
